- Activity: Adrienne Hartvigsen... The Actors Workshop is a safe zone where you can explore and learn from one of the greats. Michael's deep and genuine care for actors and, just people really, is apparent in all his work. I highly recommend taking his workshop to any level actor! The way he structures his workshop allows for not only practical film learning and scene work, but for actual real progress. Do it!Isaac Akers... Michael has the patience and wisdom to take someone with no experience, see exactly what first steps should be focused on, and change an actor from night to day in just a few weeks. It never ceases to amaze me. Even actors with decades of experience will find themselves challenged and pushed. When you step into the Actors Workshop you feel the love, passion, and respect Michael has for any artist who dares to grow.Megan Golden... Michael has created an environment that promotes creativity, community, safety, respect, and education while providing the necessary tools for success. I have found the workshop’s scene study particularly beneficial, as it is both challenging and incredibly rewarding. I have experienced so much growth as an actor during my time in the workshop and continually return to further that growth. Thank you, Michael!Bryson Allejandro... The Actors Workshop is amazing. The scene study aspect of the workshop specifically is incredible. Michael's direction and training is direct, honest, and incredibly helpful. I leave feeling worked on, stretched, and confident in my talent and skill as an actor, knowing that I can do this thing called acting! I am grateful for this class and the opportunities it provides to dive into scene work, push me as a performer, and connect more deeply with myself and others. I love it all!Lori Beckwith... Michael's workshop is priceless! I've taken workshops in L.A. and several other major cities over the years and it's my opinion that working with Michael tops them all! Michael leverages his life-long career as an actor and director and has a way of bringing out other actors' raw abilities with his unique perspective and direction. If you haven't yet taken Michael's workshop and you're a serious actor - hurry - his workshops sell out each month!Kathryn Atwood... I took Michael's scene study class and had no idea what to expect. It went way beyond my expectations. Our scenes were well chosen, as were our partners. We all got a lot of personal coaching and directing that was invaluable. I can't wait to take the class again soon! When you're not working, you should be training with Michael Flynn! He's experienced, funny, talented and dynamic. And most of all, he gives you the confidence to move forward. Thank you Michael! I'll be back. Official source Checked 2026-10-26

- Activity: An overview... TAW is a no-nonsense workshop. The core of TAW is scene work. Two actors and me working together for hours at a time. No tricks. No "exercises". Just hard work. Scene work. We rehearse the scenes. I direct them. I shoot them. I edit them. Then I screen your scenes for a panel of Casting Directors and Agents. I upload your scenes to my website so you can study your work. And learn. It's not play time. I take it very seriously. It's hard work. But... a lot of fun. I will push you as an actor. I'll assign scenes that push you. If you're looking for someone to tell you how wonderful you are... my Workshop is probably not your cup of tea. If I love your work... I'll tell you. If I don't... I'll tell you. In each case I'll try to take you to the next level. That's what the Workshop is all about. Hard work. Fun. Progress. Official source Checked 2026-10-26
