route: Angels Landing. A permit is required beyond Scout Lookout on the chains section. Lottery application costs $6 for up to six people; an awarded permit adds $3 per person. Park entry is separate. Permit possession does not establish safe conditions. NPS cautions against wet or icy rock, storms and darkness.
